Hugo is a dreamer with beautiful soul. His artworks transmit kindness and dreaminess.
Hugo loves art photography. He specializes in portraiture, urban and landscapes, but he also found anew passion for creating dream-like artworks in which he can express feelings.
Although Hugo is a shy person, when it comes to street photography he becomes a hunter. His passionfor perfection makes him do some personal sacrifices. It includes waking up very early mornings or
even not sleeping at nights in order to make the perfect capture in perfect light conditions. Nothing willstop him, not even a cold, rainy or windy day.
Hugo thinks that photography is a wonderful art and there are no limits to creativity. These limits onlyexist in our minds.
He believes that art photography is a creative process that should start with opening the mind, heart andsoul every time the camera is used. Every artwork should have a part of our soul, and it can only beachieved with love and sincere emotions – that’s what really makes the difference… He has the PPSA title.
Hugo participated in many international exhibitions and was awarded with 27 medals - 7 golden andmore than 140 other prizes. He received a honorable mention award in Black & White Spider Awards2011 (UK) in Portrait category. His work received a commendation award in Sony World PhotographyAwards 2010 (Cannes).
Hugo will be included in the Color Pictorial Image Division section of Photographic Society ofAmerica’s TOPS IN PHOTOGRAPHY, 2012.
At 2010, Hugo was included in the list of top photographers of Photographic Society of America (PSA)in Electronic Imaging Division..
He also got a Special award 70th Asahi Shimbun international photo contest 2009, Tokyo - Japan, HM medal in 71th Asahi Shimbun international photo contest 2010 HM medal in 72th Asahi Shimbun international photo contest 2011, Tokyo.
