Padovano, fotografo da oltre 30 anni, si dedica in modo particolare alla fotografia naturalistica.
La realizzazione delle sue immagini coniuga una profonda conoscenza delle caratteristiche dei soggetti, acquisita attraverso ricerche e una paziente osservazione sul campo. Le riprese, sorprendenti dal punto di vista estetico per la varietà dei colori e per la sapiente scelta compositiva, offrono altresì la possibilità di una lettura "scientifica" del comportamento animale, in quanto "congelano" il soggetto nel loro movimento naturale.

Con la rappresentativa italiana ha vinto 8 Coppe del Mondo Natura e 6 Trofei Odette Bretscher, ottenendo nel 2003 il primo posto assoluto individuale.
Ha vinto due volte il Campionato Italiano di Fotografia Naturalistica nel 2004 e nel 2007. Ha conseguito oltre 270 premi in ambito internazionale ed oltre 1700 ammissioni in 31 paesi nei concorsi internazionali (di cui 1300 in concorsi Fiap).
Il riconoscimento più importante è il Grand Prix all’Austrian Trierenberg Super Circuit (1° posto assoluto), a Linz in Austria nel 2005.
Ha pubblicato un libro fotografico dal titolo “Nel regno degli animali – dall’Alaska al Serengeti” con la prefazione di Giorgio Celli.
Ha esposto in mostre personali a Padova, Rovigno (Croazia), Garda, Kuusamo (Finlandia), Bassano del Grappa, Brescia, Asolo e in 3 mostre collettive in Cina (Macao, Zhoushan e Qinghai).Pierluigi Rizzato has been a photographer for over thirty years, dedicating great passion and commitment to his work in nature photography. His images rely on a profound understanding of the characteristics of his subjects, which he has acquired through study and research, and patient observation on the field. The photographs, whose variety of colors and careful composition contribute to their surprising aesthetics, offer in addition a “scientific” reading of animal behaviour, because they “freeze” the subject in its natural movement.
His photographs have earned him more than 270 awards abroad, winning photographic contests in 31 countries in the world, and more than 1700 accepted works (1300 in Fiap contests) .
Among all, it is standing out the Grand Prix of the Trierenberg Austrian Super Circuit, the largest annual salon of photography on the globe, more than 50.000 competing images by photographers coming from over 100 countries.
He is one of the Italian team that won 8 times the “FIAP Nature” World Cup, gaining the first individual prize in 2003.
In 2004 and in 2007 he won the first prize in the Italian Championship for Nature Photography.
In 2005 he received the AFI honour (Artista Fotografo Italiano), in 2009 IFI honour (Insigne Fotografo Italiano) and in 2011 Efiap/s Honour (Excellence de la Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique Niveaux Silver).
He issued a book “In the Animal Kingdom – from Alaska to the Serengeti”.
He has had personal exhibitions at Padova, Rovigno (Croazia), Garda, Kuusamo (Finland), Bassano del Grappa, Brescia, Asolo and three collective in China (Macao, Zhoushan, Qinghai). |
