Mohan Gurusinghe is from Colombo, Sri Lanka. While studying at Wesley College, Colombo he was involved in arts and drama.

A Businessman by profession, who took up photography as a hobby and went on to win many awards and accolades. He bought his first DSLR camera in 2013 to capture a memorable moment in his son’s schooling career and that sparked in him a passion to take up photography seriously.

Thereafter he joined the Photographic Society of Sri Lanka to study and understand photography in depth. He is presently pursuing a Diploma in Photography at The National Photographic Art Society of Sri Lanka.

Amongst the photos captured by him, 105 photos were featured in 130 FIAP salons in 43 countries, out of which 40 International FIAP awards were won by him, which includes a Gold, Silver, Bronze and 5 FIAP honourable mentions. To his credit he also has 564 FIAP acceptances.  He has also won 44 local awards.

He specializes in street, culture, candid, nature and art photography.
