Søren Skov - EFIAP/b – MSDF/s  
I was born 1953 in Esbjerg, Denmark.
My interest for photography started in 1977. 
My wife was pregnant and I wanted to be able to take some good pictures of our future child.
I bought an older Zenit camera with a 50-millimetre lens.
I mostly used this camera for family pictures until I in 1980 signed up for a photography class in Esbjerg Photo Club, Denmark. 
A whole new world opened up to me and I soon after exchanged my Zenit camera with a used Nikormat and I got more serious about photographing.
Today my photo equipment consists of a Nikon D200 and a Nikon D300s.
I have always preferred to photograph people and environment with focus on the socialist realism. I got my first international acceptance in Taiwan 1984.
Participate national and international in photo exhibitions and since 1984, got about 45 medals in photosalons and bienales all over the world.I has been jury member in national and international salons.
