- ------------ ----- PSA Distinctions - CPID-Diamond 9, PJD-Galaxy 10, PTD-Diamond 1, PPD Color-Galaxy 7, ND-Galaxy 3, EID-Galaxy 1.------------Born in 1936, he made his first slides in Algeria in the year 1958. He carried on with personal shots – always in color – up to the year 1969 when he felt the need to go more deeply into what had already become a hobby and joined the CLUB COULEUR DE PARIS where he very quickly became an active member.
------------------------------------------------ Since the CLUB COULEUR DE PARIS has disappeared, at the end of 1984, I have been member of MURAPHOT PARIS. I have been also member of the board and Executive Committee of the FEDERATION PHOTOGRAPHIQUE DE FRANCE in quality of responsible for Color Slide Division from 1974 to 2001. I am now member of the PHOTO CLUB DE LIMOURS and UNITED PHOTOGRAPHERS INTERNATIONAL ( U.P.I ). -----------------------------
Although he does not reject creative photography, which he appreciates when it is preconceived and not obtained by chance, even deceptive, he searches above all to reproduce the colored impressions and sensations of the world as he sees and |
love them. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ -As photography is for him a means of communication he enters innumerable international exhibitions all over the world and has at present 12000 acceptances and numerous awards and distinctions. These results are to him secondary, the importance being to show his work. He is often, requested to be a member of international juries ( France, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Great Britain, Portugal and Luxembourg ) and has been the guest of honor at the several international salons. -------------------------------------------------------------- Several personal exhibitions in France and Italy ( Catania in 1999 ) since 1984 as well as a double page in the German magazine STERN. --------------------------------------------- He had several photos published in books and magazines in France and overseas. Two portfolios, in the French magazine " CHASSEUR D'IMAGES " in October 1985 and the other one in the Belgium magazine " OBJECTIF " in December 1982. ---------------------------------- Not to forget other types de photographs where he is specialized in travelogs on landscapes, far-off countries, sport, portraits-studio and nature. |
