Ross is one of the very few N.Ireland Photographers who actively participates in National and International Photographic Exhibitions. Although he only entered his first Salon in late 2011, he has already achieved considerable success with 5 FIAP Gold Medals, 2 FIAP Silver Medals and a host of PAGB and Salon Medals and awards from all over the UK. His favoured medium is 'prints' and most of his photographs are of people, whether they are traditional portraits or digital composites. After 3 years as Chairman of the Top Camera Club in N.I, Ross founded a new small Club in Belfast in 2012, called 'Catchlight Camera Club'.
