Tillman Kleinhans ARPS EFIAP/b DPAGB
Tillman, 'scientist by day, artist by night', has been taking photographs since 1971 and has been a member of a North West of England photo club since 1975 and a photographic judge since the mid eighties. He has taught photography to young adults, alongside his main profession as Teacher of Physics, from the mid 70s to his recent retirement.
He sees photography as a means of communication and uses photography to communicate his visual interaction with the world. The image is everything, how it was produced is of no consequence. In the words of the artist David Stanley '....no image is complete until it reacts with the viewer'. It is this reaction that decides how successful that image is.
Tillman’s work is regularly accepted in national and international Salons and Exhibitions, and he has achieved an Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS), and has been awarded a Distinction by the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (DPAGB)and
|
has achieved the bronze level of Excellence from the Federation International de l'Art Photographique (EFIAP/b). He has had exhibitions of his work in the UK and France, and his photographs are sold to private and corporate clients. |
